1. How long does it take to add Live Portal to my site?
   Following the installation, you will only need to add a few lines of code snippet to the page where you want the Live Portal interface to appear. Live Portal package comes ready to run upon installation.
2. How difficult it is to customize the interface?
   Live Portal package comes with a number of alternative interface appearance designs (CSS files) you can use. If you want to change the default design, all you have to do is change the Style-Sheet file (CSS file) name. It is as simple.
   
   Interface appearance customizations are Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) based. You can further change, customize the CSS attributes to change the appearance. You can also replace the default images, icons with your own imagery if necessary. There is no need to deal with any programming or scripting.
   
   You can also customize all the help, tip and system messages.
3. Do I need to setup any external Database like MySQL?
   No.
   Live Portal comes as a self contained package with its own data management structure. It does not require any other external, third-party databases or server addons.
4. Is Live Portal back-end served from your servers?
   No. The entire package is delivered for installation in your own web server.
5. Do I have to show the Live Portal on my Home-Page?
   No. You can add Live Portal to any page you like including dynamically generated pages. You can create a separate/special page for Live-Portal interface.
   
   You can also add the Live Portal Interface in multiple pages of your site.
6. Can I add Live Portal to dynamically generated pages?
   Yes. You can add Live Portal in both static and dynamically generated pages.
   
   You can add the Live Portal Interface to multiple pages of your site as well.
7. Can I use Live Portal if I am not using any of your other products?
   Yes. Live Portal is an independent program and can be installed and used in any site.
8. Can I add my own RSS feeds as a channel?
   Yes. You can add your own RSS Feeds as a content channel same way any other RSS Feed.
9. Can I add my own Widgets as a channel?
   Yes. You can add your own widgets same way any other external, third-party widgets.
10. Can I change which channels show up when a user first visits my Live Portal?
    Yes. You can customize the channel collection and Tabs for the default interface from the back-end administration interface. This is the interface a users sees when they visit your Live Portal for the first time. The user can customize, rearrange the interface as they like using drag-drop positioning and other available options. They can choose which channels they want in their Tabs.
11. Can I create my own collection of content channels for my Live Portal?
    Yes. You can create your own collection by adding/modifying the collection of channels and categories. You can also remove the channels you do not like.
    
    The package initially comes with a number of various content channels pre-installed. You can add, remove, modify the channel database to make your own collection of channels and categories that are suitable for your site.
12. What type of content can I add to my Live Portal?
    Yes. You can add virtually any* RSS feed as a channel using easy to use backend administration interface. You can also add a wide variety of web site widgets (Flash Widgets, Iframed Widgets etc.) that can work independently. Live Portal main package comes with a number of fully working example Widgets pre-installed. However, some widgets speciallyt built for certain sites using a certain API may not work correctly.
13. Can I use the Live Tracker channels in my site?
    Live Trackers are special kind of channels where the content is served by proprietary search data feed. If you are using our PME (Professional MetaSearch Engine) or EMS (Enterprise Metasearch engine) with Feed Generator Addon these Live Tracker channels work as an integral part of your site.
    
    If you are not using our PME or EMS search engine solutions, you can still use the tracker channels but the underlying data feed will be served by a search service run from our server. In this case, the Live Tracker channels will operate as an external (conceptually similar to external widgets).
14. Can I use the Featured News channels in my site?
    Live Trackers are special kind of channels where the content is served by proprietary data feed. If you are using our News Portal product, you these Featured News channels work as an integral part of your site where all the listing links will point to your own News Portal.
    
    If you are not using News Portal product, you can still use the Featured News channels but the underlying data feed will be served by a service run from our server.
